Fumigation Service Agreement
Every TFS fumigation is performed under a written service agreement you review and sign before work begins. This page summarizes the terms that matter most; your signed agreement is the controlling document.
What the Agreement Covers
- The specific premises and structures inspected and treated, and the target organisms selected (for example drywood termites)
- The treatment price, any deposit, and the balance schedule you choose
- The fumigant to be used and the planned start date, weather permitting
Warranty: Re-Treatment Only
TFS warrants the treated structures against re-infestation of the covered organisms for one (1) year from the initial treatment. If live infestation of a covered organism is found and reported to us in writing during that year, we re-treat at no additional charge. The warranty is re-treatment only: it does not include repair of damage caused by the organisms.
Formosan termite disclosure: as required by the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, our agreement states plainly that Formosan termites (a subterranean species) are not covered under the fumigation warranty, because fumigation cannot prevent subterranean re-infestation from the soil. Subterranean protection is available under a separate treatment agreement.
Renewals and Transfers
Annual warranty renewals are available for up to five years at the renewal fee stated in your agreement, keeping your coverage continuous. The agreement transfers to a new owner of the property for the remainder of the original term, which is valuable documentation at resale.
Payment Terms
You select one option at signing: a deposit of at least 50% at execution with the balance due as stated in the agreement, or payment in full at execution. Card payments carry the processing fee disclosed in the agreement; cash, check, Zelle and ACH via QuickBooks carry no fee.
Your Cancellation Right
You may cancel the agreement within seventy-two (72) hours of execution by written notice (registered mail or email to tentfumigation@gmail.com), as stated in the agreement.
