German Roach Exterminator

German roaches are the small, light-brown roaches that take over kitchens and bathrooms, and they are built to survive bad pest control: one female produces thousands of descendants a year, and the population shrugs off most sprays. Clearing them takes a program, not a spray can.

Why German Roaches Beat DIY

Bug bombs and grocery sprays mostly scatter German roaches deeper into walls, appliances and neighboring units, and the survivors are the ones most resistant to the chemistry. Meanwhile each egg case (ootheca) carries up to 40 nymphs and is protected from insecticide entirely. What works is professional gel bait placed where roaches actually feed, growth regulators that stop breeding, and targeted treatments of the harborage points: hinges, drawer tracks, appliance motors, pipe chases.

Our German Roach Program

1. Inspect & Identify

We confirm the species (German vs. American vs. smoky-brown matters), find the harborages and grade the infestation so the plan matches reality.

2. Bait & Treat

Professional gel baits in cracks and voids, growth regulator to break the breeding cycle, and crack-and-crevice treatment of active zones. Low odor, no evacuation for most homes.

3. Follow-Up & Proofing

Scheduled follow-ups until activity is zero, plus sanitation and exclusion guidance that keeps them out: food storage, water leaks, entry points.

Homes, Apartments and Restaurants

In apartments and multi-family buildings, treating one unit while the neighbors stay infested is a treadmill. We coordinate multi-unit programs with property managers so the building clears together. For restaurants and commercial kitchens, service is scheduled around your hours and documented for health inspections.

Prep That Doubles Your Results

  • Empty under-sink cabinets and clear counter clutter before service
  • Wipe grease from stovetops and appliance sides; roaches feed on it
  • Fix dripping faucets and under-sink leaks
  • Do not spray store-bought insecticide after our visit; it repels roaches from the bait
  • Vacuum visible roaches and egg cases; the vacuum physically removes what chemistry cannot reach

German Roach or Palmetto Bug?

Big outdoor roaches (American, smoky-brown, Florida woods) wander in from mulch and trees and are a different, usually easier problem. German roaches are small (about half an inch), tan with two dark stripes, and live indoors full-time. If you are not sure, send us a photo at booking and we will identify them free.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many visits does it take to clear German roaches?

Most homes need 2 to 4 visits over 4 to 8 weeks, depending on severity. Heavy infestations and multi-unit buildings take longer. Your quote states the visit plan up front.

Is the treatment safe around kids and pets?

Gel baits are placed in cracks, hinges and voids where children and pets cannot reach, and are used in tiny amounts. We will tell you exactly what to keep clear and for how long.

Why did the exterminator before you fail?

Usually spray-only service. Sprays kill the roaches you see and repel the rest away from baits, while egg cases hatch untouched. A bait-and-growth-regulator program attacks the breeding cycle instead.

Do I need to leave my home during treatment?

For standard German roach service, no. You can usually stay, keeping people and pets out of treated rooms until products dry, typically a couple of hours.

How much does German roach service cost?

It depends on home size and infestation level. Quotes are free and written; call (407) 476-3589 or send the form and we will price your exact situation.
